Space Engine.
Space Engine is a heavily procedural space simulator that models and textures “millions of galaxies, trillions of stars, and countless planets”. There are no spaceships or traditional gameplay systems, yet I wonder if it’s the true spiritual successor to Braben and Bell’s Elite. Planting your flag in an uncharted landscape, the sky full of gases, planets, and other tales of adventure, are you looking at gaming’s past or its future?
Foundation: 2160p rendering and generation, LOD2 (highest procedural detail), 0.95 client, no-HUD.
Realtime Worlds: 2160p rendering and generation, LOD2 (highest procedural detail), 0.95 client, no-HUD.
New Day: 2160p rendering and generation, LOD2 (highest procedural detail), 0.95 client, no-HUD.
Life from Lifelessness: 2160p rendering and generation, LOD2 (highest procedural detail), 0.95 client, no-HUD.
In other news, I am going to download Space Engine and make some art.
